The bureau operates a free specialist money advice service for individuals who live in the Malvern Hills District.

Receiving this will help us assess how best to help you and will save time if you come for an interview. Please contact your local CAB if you live outside the area.

When we have done a preliminary assessment of your situation we will contact you with advice. If appropriate, we will make an appointment for you to see an adviser in the bureau to discuss ways to deal with your debts.

• Full details of your income and expenditure
• Letters you have received from the people you owe money to including debt collection agencies.
• Bailiff letters or court document

• Debt payment plan where you make offers to your creditors over time to clear your debts.
  
• Self help where you negotiate with your creditors with guidance from the bureau if necessary

• Referral to another agency who may be able to help you. Eg Payplan
  
• Help with Insolvency Processes such as Bankruptcy, IVA or a Debt Relief Order.
